The mat is compact so fruit flies cannot reach the waste to lay eggs. When starting your worm composter, you can also put a hemp mat on the bottom of the bin.

This model is going out of the collection. You can pick up the show model by appointment in Amsterdam Noord or simply order it online. The underset part (the catch basin) is missing. The Wormbag is still fine to use, you can put a container under it to catch excess moisture.
